As soon as you read the title, you may think, Why would anyone save a webpage when we can bookmark our favorite or important websites? But as long as your broadband net connection works without any flaw, there wouldn’t be any need to save a webpage. But we cannot be so sure of anything in this world. So especially for college students or IT employees, saving a webpage is very useful, so even when there is no internet connection, they can still view or read the content if they have saved their important webpage.

You can do this simply by going to File -> Save Page As

11

Now it will ask you for save location and in drop-down menu you can see options like in the picture below and choose complete webpage to read contents fully when you are offline

Now, apart from this, there are other options for offline use extensively, like Scrapbook and Scrapbook Plus Extensions .You can get this extension by going to
Tools -> Add-on -> search for ” Scrapbook” and install it, and restart your browser. Now go to Scrapbook Add-on option, like in the picture below

Now after clicking options, you will get the Scrapbook Options window and in that, choose the check boxes like in the below picture.

After that, you will be getting the option in your context menu next to Bookmarks, i.e., Scrapbook like in the picture below

And now when you click the ‘save page as’ option, you will be getting  more other options, like in the picture below

Thus extensions provide more options for you to save webpages along with java script, images, video, and audio. You can simply use the traditional ‘Save page as’ option under the File tab or use the Scrapbook or Scrapbook Plus extension according to your needs.
