Step by step instructions to Download a copy of Facebook account data

Step 1:

Login to your Facebook account -> Select settings from the drop down menu which is at the top right side corner

Step 2:

After selecting Settings -> click General in the left hand side menu -> Click Download a Copy

Step 3:

After selecting Download a Copy a window will pop up asking you click   Start my Archive .Just click Start My Archive in the pop ups.

Step 4:

Now after Clicking Start My Archive in the pop ups Facebook will send an email with a link to download your Copy.Depending upon your size of Facebook account data which is photos,conversations etc it may take time, normally it will take 1 minute to 15 minutes but sometimes it may take longer than that depending upon the size of your data.

 

Step 5:

Now Check your email associated with your Facebook  account and click the link given in the email to download a copy of your Facebook account data and then select Download Archive
