The difference is that if you sign up using Hostgator.in, your commissions will be in Indian rupees, and there is no need to fill out the W8-BEN Tax form. What is the W8-BEN Tax Form?
To receive the commissions that you earned from the Hostgator Affiliate Program, you need to fill out the W8 BEN Tax Form according to US Government Rules. The W-8BEN form is provided by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and its purpose is to allow non-US persons to receive a reduced rate of taxation on any US-sourced income. For the purposes of share-dealing, US-sourced income refers to income (dividends, interest, etc.) received from businesses registered or incorporated within the US. To know in detail about the W8 BEN tax form, click here. If you are a Hostgator Affiliate from the US, you need to fill out the W9 Tax Form. US people are aware of that But if you are a non-US citizen, you need to fill out the W8BEN tax form, which is new to us. Many don’t know how to fill out this tax form. You don’t have to worry anymore, as you have landed on this page. Let’s see how to fill out the W8-BEN tax form for non-US individuals.

Step 1:
As soon as you sign up for Hostgator Affiliate using www.hostgator.com on the very first page below options, you can see notifications, which display that “our records indicate that you did not fill out the form in order to receive the payment,” like the below screenshot.
When you click “Form W8-BEN,” it will take you to the following screenshot page where you need to fill in your details.
Step 2:
Fill out the form like in the below picture, leave the rest of the things blank, and then click Submit.

I just wanna ask one more thing can i use Hostgator.in and hostgator .com with same id or any other option.

Thanks for your feedback.I am glad it helped you, you can use same email id for hostgator.com and hostgator.in but give diff user names. If you get more traffic from foreign countries then i suggest you to go with hostgator.com.
hi dude thanks for this post… between i already made 1-3 sales but i dont know i have to fill this for now the sales become invalid anyway to get it comissions back?
this option is not available now . you dont have any option to fill up the W8 form from hostgator directly.
